Inspired by her heritage, designer Tenzin Tsomo draws on the anatomy of antique Tibetan equestrian rugs. Studio Tenjung's collection Notations, features a diverse range of weaving experiments, echoing the drafts of a weaver's notebook.
The Labyrinth rug features a deconstructed lattice pattern with three-dimensional scalloped horizontal stripes. Hand-knotted with rods of varying thicknesses to create dynamic pile variation and subtle topographical texture.
